I’m very pleased and excited and grateful to announce the release of my latest collection, a chapbook of flash fiction called Mercy. Forthcoming officially on May 2nd, it’s in presale now, from Walnut Street Publishing.
According to the publisher, “Mercy takes the reader down backroads and through dimly lit streetlights. Set in the backdrop of the gritty South, these sharp, bruised stories pop with the quiet thunder of lives held together by broken liturgies and thinning hope.”
Walnut Street Publishing is a fantastic organization that does sooo freaking much to promote writers and writing in general. Many, many thanks to Aaron, Emily, and Blake for taking on the collection.
And many, many thanks to you, for purchasing a copy and supporting indie presses, and indie authors (like me!)
Oh, also, please come on out to the release! Poetry Throwdown III, where Mercy will debut alongside new collections from Pierce St. Rose, Toby Darling, Annie Thompson, Cynthia Young, Frydha Victoria, and Lindsay Warhurst! Friday, May 2nd, 6PM - 8PM, at Clearstory Arts (1673 S. Holtzclaw Ave., Studio 14, Chattanooga, Tennessee.)
Thank you!
